Joe Bozzelli.......became interested in the Asian arts at a very young age. Through a series of serendipitous events, this early interest resurfaced in adulthood and now Joe actively practices Taiji and QiGong daily. In 2005, Joe earned a Masters in Medical Qigong Therapy (MMQ) degree from the International Institute of Medical Qigong, a sister school of the Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Zheng Zhou, China. He is a Taiji practioner under the private tutelage of Master Nick Gracenin. Recently, Joe earned two silver medals at the 2007 Chinese Martial Arts Championship for his Taiji and Baji performances. Currently, besides the Yoma Room, you can find Joe teaching for UPMC's Center for Integrative Medicine, Alle-Kiski Medical Center's Destination Wellness, as well as several senior centers and assisted living facilities in the Western PA area.

Taiji Quan is an internal style of Chinese martial arts most commonly practiced to improve or maintain one's health or sense of well being. Generally it is a slow, self-paced series of postures and movements utilized to stretch and exercise the entire body and mind. Through the practice of Taiji one can hope to:
- Reduce stress
- Improve muscle strength
- Imrpove flexibility and co-ordination
- Boost energy and stamina levels
- Achieve and overall sense of well being
